A hazed murky dark copper brown ale with a very thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with loads of vinous notes, treacle, licorice, alcohol warmth, smooth floral hops, resinous and piney, fragrant. In mouth, a sweet fruity caramel malt with loads of vinous notes, treacle, pinot de charente, alcohol warmth, very boozy, delicious night cap.

Golden. Aroma has a lot of caramel malt. Flavour is full on and packed with malts and hops. Very well balanced.

A slightly orange beer, a head is small and almost white. Aroma has biscuits, some caramell, citrusfruits and wood. Taste has wood and biscuits, the bitterness is quite mild but still it’s drying enough the mouth. Quite light bodied, easy to drink. Wooden vision, nevertheless, quite fresh.

Keg at Craven Arms; hazy dark amber pour with a creamy beige head, aroma has sweet toffee and red fruits, taste has some spice along with caramel and red fruits.

Bottle from Yamaya. Hazy dark brown with lace. rich malt nose, chocolate, caramel, bit of smoke. Nice malt flavor, raisins, dried fruit and chocolate fudge. Chewy, rich, malt, yet rathe light on the palate with a bit of tart fruit. Not cloying.

Bottle at the Ale House, Chelmsford. Pours a slightly cloudy golden amber colour with a decent sized white head. Beautiful aroma of fresh hops with zesty/tropical fruit and pine notes. Taste is medium sweetness and bitterness. Abv level of 8.5% is very well accommodated. Medium/full body with a creamy texture and soft carbonation. Really enjoyed this beer and is one I’d definitely like to have again.

Bottle share at the Ale House, Chelmsford. Pours a slightly hazy light golden colour with a good sized white head. Light hoppy/floral aroma with citrus and biscuit notes. Medium sweetness with growing bitterness level. Medium/light body, texture quite creamy. A very drinkable pale ale.

50cl bottle. Pours near black with a thin off white head. Coffee, roastedness, sweetness, tobacco in aroma. Flavor has roastedness, coffee, some cocoa. Creamy, smooth. Pleasant.
