This is some hot shit for my liking. Huge pine, and some lemon. Grapefruit peel. Pours clear golden without much head. A little tangerine in the mouth. Bitter ass finish. Great West Coast IPA done right. Tap at Churchkey.

Smell-weak hops, faint grass.
Foam - thin hops, bitter tones, faintly medicinal. Head is quite large, white in color.
Appearance- nice simple can. Clear orange amber, weak carbonation.
From - pint
Taste - weak hops, weak grass, faint herbal tones. Feels very grassy, not awful. Not worth it unless very good price in my opinion.

Vrij sterk alcohol gevoel. Medium body. Afdronk is wat kruidig, lichtjes bitter. Iets te fruitig naar mijn smaak, maar best OK.

0,75l bottle from Drikbeer Advent calendar, #9. Almost black beer with good and stable, dark beige head. Aroma is coffee, dried dark fruits, raisins, dark malts and some bourbon. Flavor follows with same elements. Complex but smooth. Very tasty.

Wineglass showing deep gold with no head.
The nose shows moderately intense notes of sweet yellow peaches.
The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Highly tart with moderately intense notes of slightly unripe yellow peach but dry with a light maltiness on the finish.

On tap at The Church by The Lost Abbey, pours black with a tiny head. Aroma is complex, with plenty of big bourbon barrels, wood, and roast in wonderful cohesion. Flavour is complex, with deep, complex, elegant wood dominating from the bourbon barrels; there’s subtle layers of smoke, vanillin, char, etc. Fairly limited residual sweetness. Cohesive and wonderfully blended. Still holding up real well after the years.

On tap at The Church by The Lost Abbey, pours a muddy dark brown/near-black, no head. Aroma has plenty of barrel character, a bit of rough husky malts, caramel, and dark dried fruits. Flavour is dominated by the bourbon barrels—really punching you in the face with that semi-smoky Buffalo Trace—along with brown sugar, caramel, and bready malt. Fairly restrained sweetness for the style. Not the most refined barleywine but there’s much to appreciate.

On tap at The Church by The Lost Abbey, pours a clear dull blonde with a small white head. Aroma has bright peaches, mixed bugs, some oak, and rustic graininess. Flavour is bright, with juicy peaches, moderate-to-heavy acidity, oak, and rustic notes. Super juicy, but also a bit acidic. Real good despite the acidity.

On tap at The Church by The Lost Abbey, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma has some oily resins, light pine, and bready malt. Flavour is oily, with plenty of resinous hops, candied fruit, pine, and sugars. A bit too malty and sweet, and lacking bitterness, for it to be optimal for my tastes, but it’s competently made.
