Allagash was founded Rob Tod in 1995. As a brewery, we strive to create some of the best Belgian-style beers in the world. As people, we make sure to enjoy ourselves along the way. Part of that joy comes from constantly pushing the sustainability of our brewing operation and making a positive impact in our community. Canned, from Systembolaget. Lightly hazy coppery brown, firm mid sized head. Generous aroma of marzipan, elderflowers, hay and bread. Mid sweet with above medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Marzipan and dates on caramelly bread. Mid bitter finish. Elegant and harmonious.

Bottle 2021 at Oliver Twist. Clear light strawberry red. Cherry, but not the artificial one, black currant, warmth. Fizzy sparkly, long, dry, tart, with an earthy red fruity funk. Nicely balanced. Not sticky.

2021 Bottle at Oliver Twist. Clear claret. Funky, cobweb, herbs, cherries on wood. Medium light, dry wooden, light charred on the palate. earthy, light lactic notes, umami, interesting.

Pours clear red with an off-white head. Aroma is tart with notes of malt, cherry, red berries, oak and funk. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium bitter with a long tart, funk, cherry and oak finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

12 ounce can. Medium gold pour . Frothy white head leaves behind spotty lacing. Bready malt aroma has herbal hop notes. Flavor upfront is sweet malt and grassy hops. Notes of citrus and honey in middle. Dryish finish. Very nice.

355 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Sandnes Kvadrat. ABV is 5.2%. Slightly hazy and very pale straw colour, small white head. Typical witbier aroma of wheat, yeast, curacao orange peel and coriander seeds. Crisp flavour with the same elements, moderate hops, refreshing.

355 ml can, as Allagash Ski House Winter White Ale, from Vinmonopolet Sandnes Kvadrat. ABV is 7.5%. Moderately hazy pale yellow colour, large to moderate white head. Wheaty and yeasty aroma, notes orange peel, coriander seeds and cloves. Flavour of wheat, citrus and loads of Christmas spices, moderate hops in the finish. .
