Medium body, caramellish, a little mildewy, overripe fruit and a solid dose of bitter hops. Not exactly crisp but still enjoyable. 150812

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small off white head. Aroma is dry grapefruity and light pine. Bitter, grapefruity and citrusy. Dry and crisp hoppy. Bitter and crisp fruity finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours a deep dark brown - close to black - with a vague orange hue with a huge and very lively beige head. Odd herbal aroma and.....Brett!! Medium body, excessive carbonation - way too much - roast and licorice, again herbs while the Brett is fairly downplayed in the flavour. Not all that bitter. Sort of a black Orval! Most likely infected, but quite enjoyable.150812

Draught@Euston Tap, London. Black colour mor or less, small off-white head. Aroma is roasted malts, fruits, liquorice, some mild raisins and rather strongly hopped. Flavour is roasted malts, liquorice, some salted liquorice and all this in a nice balanced. Mild notes of black berries as well when it warms up a bit.

Bottle from Mr Lawrence Wine Merchants, Brockley. Black pour with a beige head. Fine coffee nose. Quite smoky. Smoke and filter coffee flavour. Smooth and dry. Nice.

Bottle from Mr Lawrence Wine Merchants, Brockley. Pours a cloudy honey colour with a white head. Nice nose. Mango, peach, tropical fruit and pineapple. Pineapple and fresh herb flavour. Savage hop linger. Very long hoppy finish. Nice!
