Description
Since our inception on a commercial scale in 2008 we have evolved as a brewery immeasurably.
The Brewery has moved up several gears in the past 12 months & is now growing at an alarming rate!

We as a team have grown with the brewery. Started in 2008 with Directors James Farran, Andy Baker & Meyrick Kirk the brewery now has a fulltime drayman, a head brewer, a managing director & soon to be further additions to the team.

We are a brewery with an extreme passion & a strong identity, our beers are unapologetically flavour forward in nature, hop & malt laden beers that challenge today's modern beer lover. Beers with heart, soul & raging personality.

In the coming years we plan to continue to grow by fervently pushing the boundaries of what is possible when brewing beer, to excite you the deserving beer connoisseur who should settle for nothing less than than beers that excite & ensare your senses. We invest heavily in our beers with LOTS of the very best ingredients, why settle for beers that don't?

Cask at Battersea beer festival 2012. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a decent off white head on top. Good fruity, chocolate aroma. Tastes rich, dark fruit, chocolate, malty, slight sweetness. Very drinkable porter indeed.

Golden straw..clear...frothy white head
Aroma - lots of hops..grapefruit...bittersweet citrus fruits..light grassy hops...sweet pale malt background
Taste - Grapefruit hops..some grassy hops and sweet pale malts.
Palate - soft carb..medium body..slightly viscous. Finish - dryish..lingering grapefruit bitter. Over lingering and rather too aggressive bitter for me.
Overall - The over-lingering bitter finish spoilt the beer for me.

Cask at the Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival. Shared with Keen. Clear gold beer, good bubbly head. Light semi dry palate. Sweetish pale malt balances nice hops. Clementine and tangerine. Nicely joined up. Overall a sweetish pale ale but does have some mild bitter linger.

Bottle from Chester Beer & Wine. Hazy golden pour with a medium sized, lingering off white head. Resinous pissy hop coupled with citrus present in the nose. Flavour had notes of grapefruit and grassy hop with some bold and somehow slightly unrefined bitterness. Very dry lingering bitter finish. Decent stuff but somehow lacking a little balance and finesse.

33cl bottle thanks to Stewart. Pours like a cappuccino. Massive freshly ground coffee nose. Tastes of coffee beans, some malt, but still cleans to some extent. The palate is medium to full bodied, creamy textured and reasonably clean. Overall, a good beer.

33cl bottle, thanks to Stewart. Pours cappuccino - head was decent to start with but fell away. The nose has black cherries and chocolate - black forest gateau. The taste is more cherries, a bit of smokiness then chocolate on the end. The palate is rich and complex, tangy texture and a lovely elegant finish. Overall, an excellent beer
