Dull blonde, no head. On the nose, phenolic - lots of cleaners and this has been a real trend with their beer lately. Light and wheaty, and light saltiness. Light tartness, and again some phenolis.
2017 rate (3.7) Oyster juice and coriander. Hazy dull and pale, aroma jumps out as yeasty with a light oyster, wheaty, bit of that salty, bit of that tart.

Amber and quite gingery, medium body. Really ginger forward. Just a light malt backdrop. The base beer isn’t really knocking me out, but of course I like the ginger.

Pale and cloudy, medium but weak head. Has a tart, fresh aroma, breezy and lightly fruity. Tart on the palate, pretty clean. Quite good, tart and refreshing.

Draft - Lots of soapy notes. Cloudy yellow gold with a rich white head. Soured notes, some passionfruit. Bad nose, good flavour.

Bottle at Farmhouse Fest, pours an opaque cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of earthiness, spices and light wild yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, with plenty of earthiness, light spices and barrel character. Spicy, earthy and farmhouse-y finish. Really good.

On tap at Farmhouse Fest, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out brett yeast and a touch of oak. Flavour is complex, with brett, rustic saison yeast and dry crisp crackery malt. Bretty and wild. Very well done.

On tap at Farmhouse Fest, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of nettles, light brett, and intense earthiness. Flavour is lightly sweet, with lots of earth, stinging nettles and some farmhouse yeast. Spicy and sweet on the finish. Excellent.

Draft pour pint at Special Brews. A decent way to start what is surly to be a busy beer day. Pours a dark but clean brown color with a thin fizz head. A bitter ale, or Scottish ale, either way, it’s unique and interesting. A soft, dusty, earthy malt aroma. Cool, nutty, dusty malt constant. Malt leaves it a little dry, and makes this a very quick drink. Soft spice, nutty late reminder. Pretty good.
