A reddish brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet nutty caramel malt with light coffee notes, grassy hops, butterscotch, pleasant. In mouth, a nice roasted caramel malt with light grassy hops, loads of treacle, light butterscotch, toffee, alcohol warmth, very nice. On tap at Festibière de Gatineau 2016.

J’ai bien apprécié ce vin d’orge qui pourrait être confondu avec une corpulente Double IPA. Le style est donc respecté mais de justesse... Il y a une forte présence de bons houblons et d’agrumes amers. Ça laisse une grande sécheresse en bouche. Verdict: bien bon!
