This brown ale poured a cloudy deep amber with a soapy, minimal head. Scents include candy, glue, roasty light coffee. No lacing. First swig was very thin. Flavours of caramel, smoke and glue? most prominent. Finish is roasty with thin mouthfeel lingering. Sad since the can is so nice looking...

Pours a darker amber colour (going on copper) with a frothy-bubbly beige head, decent retention and some creamy-foamy lacing. Cereal grain nose with biscuit malts and a touch of sweetness from the caramel malt base. Hints of hay was well, just like in the taste. Well-balanced between the cereal notes, caramel sweetness and mild grassy hops. Thick, but silky mouthfeel. Grows on you, so not a bad Canadian Bitter.
