500ml bottle in Black Creeks holiday 4 pack. Black pour, with a small off white head. Nice aroma of roasted malts, coffee, and loads of roasted wheat. Some grassy nops, light notes of pine. Soft carb, a tad watery mouth feel. The fonish is big on roasted wheat, and toasted malts. Light notes of soy, and some coffee. Really nice stout.

Clear brown pour, small beige head. Sweet, nutty aroma, bready with caramel. The finish is again quite nutty, and a tad sweet, with an incredible, lingering bitterness.

Volo Cask Days 2009. murky amber pour, small frothy head. Aroma of canned pumpkin pie filling, its as simple as that. Im thinking they made this beer with canned filling. Its a pumpkin ale lacking the big pungent spices you normally get in a pumpkin beer. There is a lack of cloves, and i would say cinnamon, but i really enjoy it. Its just a sweet pumpkin beer, not sharp spiciness, just low key, smooth, and enjoyable.

Great citrus hoppy aroma, with some tropical fruit. Flavor is light and hoppy with some light cereals, and light malt. Quite bitter finish, with a nice hoppy aftertaste. Pretty good stuff!

A hazed reddish amber ale with a thin very thin off white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with grassy hops, light mineral notes, light caramel notes and treacle. In mouth, good caramel malt with light grassy hops, treacle, resinous and piney notes, very nice after 5 years. Bottle from LCBO.

This bitter poured a slightly cloudy, dark amber colour with a big, light tan coloured head. Lacing is not bad at all. Scents include caramel, toast and cereal. First swig was smooth and lightly sweet with flavours of caramel, toast, nuts and a little cereal. Finish is nice and malty with a slightly sweet mouthfeel and caramel flavours lingering.
