Solid gold colour with a thick, fluffy, well laced head. Leads with a smooth, rich mouth feel leaning heavily on rye, rye whiskey, and cereal malts. A nice undertaste of Oak, toasted coconut and a touch of caramel add some complexity. Active effervescence and a solid body add to this smooth, well rounded ale.

Typical lager, but there are buttery notes, and dicetly. Feels rushed. Not awful, but not good.

run of the mill pale lager, not awful, but not very good either. Lightly vegetal, slightly musty cereals. Meh.

Light cereals, a bit vegetal, no hops, apple esters....nothing to see here. Run of the mill, cheap pale lager.

Can from the LCBO. Pours a slightly hazy yellowish orange, with a large white head. Aroma is sickly sweet, with a blast of fake strawberry flavouring, and nothing else. Mouth feel is ok, car is very soft. Finish is more of this cloying, sickly sweet fake strawberry...its like drinking that fake strawberry smell they add to kids toys. Bitterness was also very high, much more than expected. This was awful.

Can from the LCBO. Jet black pour, with a medium, creamy dark brown head. Aroma is a blast of coffee, and dark, robust roasty malts. Hints of vanilla, and a silky smooth mouthfeel, and carb. Finish is medium bitter, roasty coffee, hitns of soy, soft vanilla sweetness. I was quite impressed. Robust, but not over the top, and very smooth, and well balanced.

Can from your independent grocers in north bay. Clear orange pour with a medium white head. Aroma is a big punch of fake peach, and not much else. Mouth feel is good, carb is the same. Finish is astringent, bitter, fake peach and again not much else. It's fake peach ale.

Can. Clear, pale copper pour, with a small off white head.. Aroma is very woody, light vanila and sweet, oaky rye. Mouth feel and carb are both quite soft. Finish is lightly bitter, earthy and sweet. Oaky, light roast, loads of rye barrel notes without the alcohol. It's odd, but not unpleasant, but weirdly not pleasant either.

Whoa, thus smells like lemon hand soap. Flavour isn’t as perfumed, as the aroma. Some hints if lemon zest and sweet ginger ale. Mouth feel and carb are nice and refreshing. Finish is soapy, cloying, and off the wall and rails. Couldn’t finish it.

Malty, bready, big toffee, and nutty notes. Solid mouth feel, and good carb. Crisp, and clean, a good example of the style.
