brown sugar, coffee and malt nose on a copper body. Off white head. Taste is a bit thin, featuring some nuttiness, malt, and a touch of coffee. Low carbonation and little finish. Foof.

Jet black, big beige head. Lots of roast, but subtle fruity also, and alot of pine resin as it warms. Very full bodied and oily, with soft carb. Medium bitterness, pine resin finish with hints if coffee and more roast. Not bad, leaning more towards imperial stout with the hop profile I’m tasting. Still quite good though.

Uhofensive, and extremely boring. Cheap malts, corn, and no hops. Next to no bitterness, of aftertaste. I guess it’s a beer fror those who don’t like to taste their beverage.

On tap at Hard rock 42 in Sudbury. Murky brown pour, with a big frothy beige head. Aroma of sweet ginger, baking spices, and bready malts. the mouth feel is good, but a tad thick. the finish is quite medicinal, there are big flavors of minerals, and wet paper in the finish, with next to no bitterness.

Yup, had to try it.
Aroma is err, umm....rotten cabbage, garbage water, sulphur. It was rough. The flavor and finish were just boring. Sweet grains, honey, light grass.

Volo Cask Days 2009. Pretty basic stout, good roast, some nice hops, especially in the finish. A good solid stout. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Lots of caramel malts, brown sugar, and cereals. Finish was very light, and a tad watery, more caramel, and some light maple. Meh.

Jet black, brown head. Great roasted malt aroma with good dark, burnt coffee notes and some slight cocoa. The mouthfeel is a little thin for an oatmeal stout. The finish is solid, good bitterness, but the majority of the flavors drop off except for some light roast.

typical grassy grainy nose. Flavour is much of the same. the finish is also grassy. the grassiness takes ovver, meh, not a fan.

nice roasty malt nose, flavour is much of the same. Good balance between the roasty malt, and slight caramel notes. Great finish of caramel, i like this alot!
