Description
Redemption is one of the pioneering founders of London’s craft beer movement and was the first brewery in Tottenham, North London in almost 100 years. We started back in 2010 and are still brewing the kind of beers you'll love drinking with your mates at the pub today.
We are 100% independently owned and brew beers brimming with flavour and complexity, the kind of pint you'll find yourself returning to time and time again. Your new favourite.

Bottle at Mes Tasting. Pours cloudy brown with a creamy head. Medium roast malt nose with heavy toffee and caramel. Quite a sweet flavor, has some sweet cocoa, light coffee, mild bourbon, some wood. Medium to full in body with fine carbonation. Finishes sweet, warming, has some wood, ripe fruits, lightly dry. Very nice.

Cask conditioned at the Bree Louise, London 11/1/2011. Deep amber with a decent off-white head. Sweet, malty aroma with some nuts, fruit and a touch of roastiness. Flavour was much the same, with plenty of caramel and chewy malts before a decent, bitter finish. Good.

From cask at Bree Louise. Pours clear and golden deep orange to brown with a small white head. Aroma is roasted malt, quite hops fruity: pine and grapefruity. Citrusy, grapefruity and roasted malt flavoured. Bitter and fruity finish.

Cask, Duchess of Kent, Islington. Golden looks with a smallish off white head. Aroma was on the restrained side and had notes of fragrant hop and citrus. Flavour had similar traits in addition to biscuity malts. Dryish bitter finish. Pefectly drinkable but lacking any real va va voom, as a certain charcter who used to haunt these parts might have said.

Bottle from Kernel as LBA Porter. Very black colour with a thick tan head. Chocolate coffee and fruit on aroma. Smooth and rather lovely in the mouth. The liquorice edge is rounded off thankfully. Lovely intense aroma. Clearly a lot of everything went into this. Rather big thick and lovely in the mouth. Good choc on the swallow and on into the finish. So is it any good? Yes. Shame it was a one off.

Cask, Jolly Butchers, Stoke Newington. Dark reddish brown colour with a small tan head. Coffee, malt and fruit protruded the nose. A smilar story in the flavour with some chocolatey notes. Fairly restrained bitterness in the finish. A pretty good fellow.
