Description
Redemption is one of the pioneering founders of London’s craft beer movement and was the first brewery in Tottenham, North London in almost 100 years. We started back in 2010 and are still brewing the kind of beers you'll love drinking with your mates at the pub today.
We are 100% independently owned and brew beers brimming with flavour and complexity, the kind of pint you'll find yourself returning to time and time again. Your new favourite.

Cask at London Drinker fest 2011. A good looking dark amber coloured pour with a medium white head. Malty, fruit, hoppy aroma. Tastes hoppy, malty, fruity, sticky sweet, quite a clear American influence IMO. Really liked it and not too strong either. Hope to try this one again very soon.

Gravity cask at the London Drinker BF. Pours light garnet with a few bubbles. Citrus and hop flowers on the nose. Some sugar and caramel sweetness, lots of bitterness, grapefruit, lots of resinous pine. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sticky, raw bitter finish, some good maltiness, plenty of whole cone hops and resin. Really nice.

Gravity caskj at the Bree Louise. Pours a rich, red-brown with a fine, filmy head. Lots of dark, roasted malts and mocha in the aroma. Flavor is great, medium sweet, roasty with lots of coffee grounds, charred wood and baking cocoa, along with a leafy bitterness. Medium in body with fine carbonaton. Finishes semi-dry with mild tobacco, plenty of burnt malts and hints of brown sugar. Great beer.

Cask at the Jolly Butchers, London on 11th February 2011. Deep ruby with a thick cream head leaving a bubbly lace on the glass. Licquorice and berry fruits in aroma and ongoing in-mouth taste, but not overly sweet. A palate of berry fruit, cheesy yeasts and some earthy pungency form a complex aftertaste with a sweetish undertone. Some bitterness and tangy citrus late in finish. Thick, slightly viscous, mouthfeel. An interesting and complex pint.

Cask handpull at The Dean Swift with Chriso. According to Max the landlord at The Dean Swift this was a collaboration brew made at Redemption. Very deep ruby red beer with lasting beige head. Too hoppy to be a modern mild. Lovely choc flavour. Choc and hops. Good body. It’s damn good. Very good hoppy dark beer.
