7th April 2010. Clar amber beer. Dtyish palate. Well balanced light caramel malt and good orangey hops that aren’t too bitter. Competant but unexciting.

Fruity, slightly malty taste with notes of citrus, peaches, biscuity malt and a gentle bitterness in a finish with a touch of citrussy hops. Below medium body, balanced sweetness. Refreshing and tasty but possibly lacking something extra.

Cask at Egham USC, Surrey. Brown/copper coloured pour with a very healthy fluffy white head. A very fresh beer indeed. Malty aroma. Tastes malty, hoppy, fruity, hint of caramel, nutty. A very enjoyable pint indeed from a brewery in Tottenham, N17 (the local football team that I have followed for 42 years). This new London brewery is adventurous, bloody good stuff.

Cask, gravity at The White Horse, Hedgerley, Bucks, Thames Tipple Leg 9 (Fins brucie bonus again) 13-03-10 Pours mid brown in colour, this is quite rustic in style, with a good earthy hoppiness and then quite some nuttiness present in the mouth. Fruity with a bitterness that slowly comes though, a touch chewy at times, and then there is a surprising little blitz of grapefruit, enjoyable. A6 A3 F7 P4 Ov13 3.3 Had this again on Cask, handpump at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks 07.03.11 Pours really nutty, earthy bitter, good fruitiness, with some citrus. Chestnut in colour, tasty beer. On gravity at the London Drinker festival 11/03/10. Amber with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of hedgerow fruit and leafy hops. Flavour of biscuit malt, more fruit and a decent, bitter finish. A good session beer.
