Pale gold, not much head, lots of krush on the nose, not as candyish as it sometimes is. Cleanish pale malt, modest bitterness. I’s okay but I probably will never get into krush.

Pale, slight haze. Dry, appley, a bit strong, the alcohol comes through a fair bit.

Dark, nitro head. Aroma is nutty, lots of coffee. Nitro body. Has medium bitterness, lots of nutty coffee character, quite roasty in the finish. Finishes balanced. Solid, though as usual I’d prefer no nitro.

Darkish brown, not much head. Big nose, lots of figs, honey, layers of sugar and bourbon. Similar palate, sticky and rich. Fantastic sugars, tannins, the cognac is all over the palate.

Hazy, pale, slightly warm colour, medium head. Quite fruity, stone fruit, some berry maybe, papaya, a fruit punch of a beer. Decent bitterness, clashes a bit with the sweet fruit.

Can @ Benzai's Anti-Carnival Valentine's Day Tasting, Feb 26. Pours dark, with a thinning tan head. Confident coffee with integrated roast, offset by a very gently stewed blackberry undertone.. good

Can @ Benzai's Anti-Carnival Valentine's Day Tasting, Feb 26. Pours very dark, deep tan head. Aroma brings to mind sweet American gas station apple pie, a little astringent to taste, bitter roast linger.. sugary apple pie drifts in, cinnamon kiss.. some likeable aspects.. but doesn't come together too well

Can @ Benzai's Anti-Carnival Valentine's Day Tasting, Feb 26. Pours very dark - I'd like to say black but my heart says brown - with a deep tan head. Banana foam sweets dominate with some moderate roasted malts. I quite like banana foam sweets so it's not a bad thing I suppose 🍌🍌🍌
