Can at the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a short-lived fizzy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light hay, glue, mineral, light citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate to light bitter and sweet, with a light, slightly watery, crisp, light fruity, light dry hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation. A little too light all round for my liking. Light, watery and the flavours are too scared to make an appearance.

Can. Very pale gold with an inch of white head. Aroma of grassy sauv. blanc, passionfruit, crackers, some gooseberry. So it tastes. Nice but a drier and considerably more bitter finish would have suited me better.

From a 330ml can on 27/12/2019. Pours a clear deep golden with a smallish head. Has a sharp citrus and pine aroma. The flavour features caramel and biscuit malt wise features lots of zesty citrus fruit with a bit of mild green apple and stone fruit sweetness in the background. The hops are big, featuring lots of pine and resin. The palate is sticky, the carbonation average. A nicely put together hop monster.

Can. Clear gold with a white head. Aroma of mandarin, some kumquat, crackers, a little pine. Quite sweet at first before a moderate yet persistent resinous bitterness at the end. Fine but not one of their better offerings.

Can. Bright amber with an inch of head that lightens to white. 3+ Aroma of kumquat, some sticky tropical and pine notes emerging with glossy bread crust. Deep and lovely but not vibrant by Epic standards. But there's real depth of fruity hops upon a sip - zesty and tenor register citrus, caramelised tropical fruit (mango, feijoa) sitting with glossy bread crust before peppery piney bitterness. Getting towards majestic.

Bottle. Black with a tan head that fades to a coat and lacing. 3+ Aroma of dark roast, mocha, blackberries, tobacco. 8 very smooth with moderate to low domination. Sweet before slightly spicy bitterness at the end. Rich mocha, slightly astringent roasted flavours. Good.
