Pours hazy (like I’ve never seen hazy) gold into a tulip. No aroma? Soft with caramel and meadow flowers upfront turning to fresh cut hay before the mild bitter earth finish.

Bottle: Poured an amber color lager with a medium size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light caramel malt with light spicy rye notes with light rustic cereal notes. Taste is also a mix between some cereal notes with some light spicy rye notes and some chewy light caramel malt notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Interesting experiment from a brewery that I would wish to know more about.

Bottle from Downtown Wine and Spirits. Pours a crystal clear deep straw with a huge bubbly bone white head that takes forever to recede. Aromas of spicy onion and garlic with a bit of pine and dankness hiding a hint of bready sweet malt. The flavor is lightly bready but overpowered by resin pine and green onion. Smooth hop flavor with just a touch of bitterness. Medium body with a spirited level of carbonation and a slick resinous mouthfeel. Nice beer, I’m glad I found some of this.

Bottle courtesy of AirForceHops. Earthy coffee, boozy oak, vanilla, rich lactic chocolate, light ash aroma... and this crazy good cinnamon in the bottom notes. Black with a moderate creamy tan head. Creamy lactic Espresso... sort of like a good macchiato , bitter chocolate, boozy oak, and prune flavor with a light spicy bite in the finish. Medium bull body, soft carbonation. Thanks Chris, this was a nice one.

Bottle courtesy of AirForceHops. Sweet lactic chocolate, vanilla, boozy oak aroma. Black with a moderate creamy, quickly dissipating tan head. Follows the nose - sweet lactic chocolate, roasty malt, vanilla, spicy oak, and alcohol flavor. Medium full body, soft carbonation. Very nice. I think I like the coffee version the best - it seemed to have just a little more complexity.

Bottle thanks to a trade! Pours a clear dark amber brown with a grayish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of smoke with a back bone of sweet chocolate and dark grains. Flavor starts with sweet chocolate and a bit of toffee and a has a finish of light smoke.

Bottle purchased at Julio’s. Crystal clear gold thin white head. Nose is grain and corn. Sweet malty backbone with lots of bread and grain. Mild hops in the finish that are Earthy. Yeah, it’s kind of what most people expect from the style. Nice

Bottle shared with my brother. Pours a fairly clear deep golden color with a decent sized creamy white head that dissipates rather quickly. Aromas of sweet bready malty with hint of spice and fruit with a light spicy earthy hop aroma to round it all out. The flavor holds a creamy bready malty taste with lots of spicy earthy hops to balance it out. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick almost sweet mouthfeel. Another great brew from Jack’s, but not one I would seek out again.

50cl bottle pours a hazy, caramel amber with some wispy, white head. Nose is some light smoke, a little cherry wood, some light maple, almost a maple wine aroma, some brown sugar, malt. Flavor is a weird mix of sausage fat and sweet maple, I guess it tastes like breakfast sausage, but not in a great way, honey, malt, brown sugar, some bread, some pitted fruit, a little cherry, date. Full, sweet and smokey finish. A strange combo.
