Bottle. Pours clear golden amber with a small white head that dissipates with nice lacing. Aroma is grain, grass, citrus, pine. Flavor follows suit - definitely has the lager thing going, but with a pleasant overtone of american hops. Light sweet, light bitter, light body. I would rather drink this than a Bud any day, but it doesnt hold up to the best IPL’s (mostly also brewed by Jack’s Abby).

Tap. Pours hazy golden, small white head, decent lacing. Aroma is kiwi(!), citrus, dank. Flavor is much the same, vaguely fruity, tropical, initial sweetness that dries out fast. Medium bitter. Medium body, oily mouthfeel. Pretty tasty.

Pours a nice bright gold with a big puffy head, a light cream color. Lots of lacing, very good retention, in case you’re curious. The aroma is quite hoppy. Big on bright citrus with a little tropical fruit in the mix. Nice floral note, as well. Sugary, doughy malt underneath all of those hops. Taste is similar. Lots of hop flavor. It pretty much drinks like an IPA. It’s just a bit cleaner for better and worse. The hops start with sweet floral and citrus flavors but get a bit bland in the finish. It’s just not quite as juicy as I’d like. Nice dry finish, otherwise. Light mouthfeel with a little bit of hop oiliness. Very good beer.

GABF 2013. Pours an orange appearance with a cream colored head. Bready, corn, toasted malty, grassy/herbal aroma. Slightly sweet, toasted malty, a touch burnt, caramel, hay, lightly fruity flavor. Hope to try again but this one was kind of disappointing.
