16 oz can. Aroma of baked bread, honey-ish malt, yeast. Flavor follows and has a mild crispiness to it. Pretty good malt backbone with a subtle bitterness for balance. Considering the price and availability of this beer, this is really well done!

12 oz can thanks to clarkvv on the shared. Aroma is huge caramel with a soft salt note. The caramel damn near slapped you in the face in the flavor. No shortage of candy. Show soft salt in the finish. Really just too sweet to enjoy.

Can from ClarkVV--thanks, Clark! Opaque dark brown, ring of head, nice viscosity, light lacing. Aroma strong caramel, roasted malt, toffee. Taste is super strong caramel, lesser toffee. Smooth, soft carbonation, finish as taste. Caramel too dominant!

Brewery draught, 3/27/25.
Minimally hazy, copper-maize. Small, white head, low retention.
Fruity, hoppy, lightly juicy with light cracker and honey-like malt. Very slight touch of pine to strengthen things with some unripe stone fruit as well. Clean.
Juicy and round with excellent malt depth. Lovely honey with ample but not overdone bitterness. Pine and grapefruit vie with tropical fruits and everyone wins. Good attenuation and a reasonably crisp finish, though the ample malt depth keeps it on the malty side.
Thanks NFB! Real nice bready, clean pils, to go along with the Phightens in mid season form. Especially the bullpen.

6 oz cask at Cask On! Aroma is smoke and iodine. Flavor follows with some mild earthy grain. Not my style but it is fine. Nothing aggressive

Cask On, cask 3/23/25.
A bit of haze. Deep bronze. Small, off-white head.
Iodine! Wow. Unexpected. Peaty, earthy, moderately malty. Bit of yeast in there yet. Clean though.
Iodine and peat for days. Lean texture but ample malt. But of caramel and biscuit with bitterness and more iodine lingering. Very drinkable provided you like Islay Scotch...

Poured a slightly hazy yellow with a small foamy head. Aroma was grain, wheat. Light coriander, grain, some wheat, grains. Flavor was crisp, with some grain and wheat. Really interesting stuff.

Canned 10/30/24, drunk 3/12/25.
Dark, clear. Burgundy-mahogany highlights. Large, tan head, creamy, well-retained.
A lot more sugar, it seems to me, than the Gingerbread version I just had. Powdered sugar, sweet fudge and cake icing, none of which smells particularly appealing to me. I guess it goes with the territory of creating a tiramisu character, which I guess it does, but it lacks the backing acidity to help balance. Not boozey.
Ick. Bitter anise and coffee barely begin to balance the big, sugary sweetness. Tastes like liquified tiramisu but not from a good restaurant where it's not very sweet. Very cheap and sugary. Appreciate that is is spot-on with the tiramisu flavors and isn't syrupy or boozey, but it's just grossly too sweet.

Canned 10/30/2024, drunk 03/06/2025.
Clear, dark mahogany with dark auburn. Medium-sized, dull-tan head slowly to cover.
Woah! Don't know if it's the additional age on the can contributing, but that smells NICE! Gingerbread is certainly there, but it's intertwined pretty well with the lager and provides both comforting bread and sweet malt notes as well as spicy ginger. None of which is overdone. No alcohol or excess sugar. Very aromatic and well-presented/clean.
Malty, rich, with a hint of roast, touch of dark coffee and soft caramel, vanilla, black licorice and round, slightly spicy ginger. Nothing aggressive or overly dry. Malty without excessive sweetness or syrupiness. No alcohol noted. Rich, soft and comforting. Was pretty disappointed there were no BA Framinghammers this year, but the non-BA versions they released have been surprisingly well-done.
