I have said it before " if only this promising domestic brew could taste as well as it smells." Very nice promising aroma but a disappointing palate and little flavor to speak of. I must hand it to them for creating a high alcoholic beverage tthat tastes almost like water. I would nickname this the bud of tripels just a bad imitation. No head and very light.

I really don’t think that anyone does a better job of barrel aging their beers than Weyerbacher. This was another good example. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a deep black color with a small very dark brown head. The aroma was faint but had a sweet chocolate note to it. The flavor was sweet, chocolate and reminiscent of port wine. The port wine element really came through as the beer warmed up. Very interesting.

Cloudy light yellow body, thick, puffy off white head. Strong yeasty aroma with coriander, orange peel, and tangy wheat. Flavor is rather thin and quite yeasty with coriander and pepper leading to biscuity and somewhat tangy wheat malt, finishing with orange peel and more spice. Although watery this is refreshing and makes an easy pour.

Pours hazy Copper - Orange color with an average size creamy head that’s just off white a tiny bit. Clean aroma of malt and nice mellow yet forceful hops. The flavor starts slightly sweet, then becomes increasingly bitter until the dry finish ends. This is a nice change from the Cascades dominant IPA’s.

This pours slightly hazy deep yellow color with a minimal thin white head that leaves some lacing on the side. Sweet orange in the aroma. Sweet, spicy, a little alcohol with some bitterness at the end. Not bad.

Opaque hazy borown with a thick compact off-white head. Aroma of brown sugar, alcohol, apples, and scotch.Whooping sweet malt with tequila alcohol. Nice bittering throughout the profile. Fairly heavy palate but well balnced , a whollop ofd hops and a whollop of malt.

Deep deep black with a huge bubbly moka head. Vinous earhy chocolate aroma, with a little licorice. Sweet moka coffee taste with some lactic notes. Not too overly heavy...nice IS!

Dark brown ale with no head. with a nice malty aroma with vinous qualities. A bit thin, but nice nutty lightly lactic taste, with some sweet chocolate and a light hop finale.

Hazy hazy brown ale. Very sweet fruity aroma, wih sweet red delicious apple and alcohol warmth. Sweet and spicey taste with the hops comming nicely in the end. Almost in between a barley wine (grape notes) and a belgian triple/quad (spices). Nice grappa overtones. Well balanced.

A dark red beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of alcohol, peaches, and oil. The flavor is sweet spicy and with loads of hops as well as alcohol to give it a nice body. A nice beer.
