Cask at the brewery. Poured a clear yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light yeast. The flavour is light bitter, with a smooth, fresh, malt, light yeast, light herbal, light citrus, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Not the most refined cask ale I’ve ever had. Lacks defining flavours and the flavours that it did have were poor.

19/9/2024. Can bought at Candy & Liquor, Birmingham. Enjoyed from the can in ridiculously hot English autumn weather. Aroma is malty, oaty, citrus, grapefruit, biscuit, touch of herb. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness and body. Highly carbonated, but that aside it’s a perfectly acceptable AF without the worty cardboard which often reduces their enjoyment.

Draft at the brewery. Poured a hazy golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is herbal, lemon. The flavour is over moderate sweet, with a fresh, juicy sweet lemonade palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Super sweet and too sweet to drink in any kind of volume. I feel my teeth complaining already!

[33cl can from Beer52.] A slightly hazy straw coloured pour with a tight white head; crisp grassy aroma; grainy body with a hint of citrus; and a clean finish with a light grassy bitterness.
