Draft at the brewery. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a lasting, frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, light caramel. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter, with a somewhat light, milky, chocolate, earthy, liquorice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Awesome for a low alcohol beer.

Cask at Duke William, Stourbridge. Pours golden amber with a small off-white head and good lacing. There’s bread and malts in the aroma. In the mouth it is superficially sweet with some tanginess lying beneath the surface. Quite juicy, but also watery. Flavour has stone ruit and silver shred marmalade, plus a few hops coming through eventually. Slight bitterness in the finish. This is a bit non-descript.

Cask @ Tennents Bar, Glasgow. Clear blonde with a creamy-smooth head. Session texture and strength hoppy ale with a modicum of sweetness maybe?

Half pint in Bacchus, Birmingham shared with Haddock. Pale golden pour, small white head. Gently sweet malt air, continuing to form a modest malt base, lightly sweet, exceptionally drinkable, but not a lot to it overall.
