Bottle, thx to fonefan. Pours a clear, golden body under a minimal white head. A touch of barnyard and yeast in the aroma, with the apples doing most of the job. Apple sour flavor with some yeast and barnyard, leading to a yeasty finish with sour apples. Medium, slightly astringent mouthfeel. A decent one, but far from the best. (080823)

Bottle from Sainsburys. Pale gold with a momentary white head and big carbonation. Syrupy flavour with plenty of apples and a short dry finish. Sugar left coating the mouth - excessively sweet.

Cask. Orange colour, not much head. Carrot orange juice with some mild cheesy and appleish notes. Flavour is quite much the same. Rated for it’s strangeness. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cheddar Valley Dry Cider on 06 May 2011 at 10:32 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. Original review text: Cask@Helsinki Beer Festival 2011. Nice reddish orange colour, no head. Aroma is apples, some cheese, mild earthy and some yeasty notes. Flavour is apples, cheesy, herbal, mildly wooden and earthy as well. Semidry palate.
