Bottled. A golden cider with a rim of white head. The aroma has strong notes of apples - no surprise. The flavor is sweet and dominated by apples, leading to a dry and slightly tart finish. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Bottle. This tasted like a medium cider sweetened with dessert pears. The cider on its own would probably have tasted better. Certainly not much of a perry.

Bottle from Sainsburys, Kidligton, consumed 20-08-09 Pours golden and clear as a bell. Nice clean tasting cider, some chewy woody characteristics which I like, softened apple flavours, nice enough stuff. A6 A4 F7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Cask at New Oxford, Manchester, RBESG 09. Glowing orange color with no head. Very sweet (but a bit artificial) apple flavor and aroma. Dry finish.

Keg at the Cross Hands, Winterbourne Down, S Gloucestershire 19/08/09. Dry, sour apples to the fore, some oak in the finish and plenty of fizz. Ok.

Deep blond color, small bubbles. Aroma of apple compote. Some apple juice flavor, a bit dry in the end and with a light woody astringency.

Handpump. Hazy yellow colour with no head. Aroma is apple, wood, some mild spices as well as mild vanilla. Flavour is sweet apples along with some mild notes of vanilla and wood.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Deep gold in colour with moderate carbonation. decent, dry aroma with plenty of apple fruit. Flavour of tart apples with some earthiness, but marred by some caramel sweetness lurking in the background. Ok.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Pale gold with slight carbonation. Sweet, stewed apple aroma. Flavour of apple syrup with a touch of dryness in the finish. Too sweet for me.
