Thatchers cider has been made on Myrtle Farm since 1904.

Bottle, 6.0%. Good citric flavour, slightly funky like good real cider. A bit too sweet, perhaps.

Clear golden with a tiny white short lasting head. Somewhat dry aroma with natural apples and hints of wood. Rather dry flavour flavour with tart apples, wood and grapes. Finish mild dry.

50 cL bottle. Pours golden yellow with a fully gone head. Medium dry phenolic apple aroma. Sweet and slight acidic apple flavoured with a lasting bitter and citric impression. Smooth apple dry flavoured finish.

Bottled. Pale golden colour, no head. Aroma is acidic apples along with some wooden and sappy notes. Flavour is sour apples with some mild notes of zest and wood. Quite watery, but refreshing too.

From cask at Stockbridge Tap. Pours hazy yellow with a fully gone head. Aroma is phenolic and dry apple with note of barnyard. Smooth apple flavoured yet on the dry side with a light phenolic note. Mild dryness coming through. Dry and phenolic finish too.

thanks, thewolf for sharing. aroma very ripe apples, leather. appears yellow with no head, flavor is nice , cider has some acidity to balance the very sweet apples, in a way well balanced, seem aged, but lacks some winy acidity to get real good.

50 cL bottle, courtesy of thewolf. Pours clear and golden with a small white rim of a head. Dry and phenolic aroma. Apple fruity and slight wooden. Sweet apple fruity with a mild phenolic note on the back of the nose. Smooth fruity and sweet finish.

Bottled (from K Citymarket Kivihaka, Vaasa). Golden colour, no head. Aroma is sweet apples, mild alcohol and some hints of sweet wood. Flavour is apple, cardboard and some wood. Long apple in the aftertaste.

Bottled (4.5%, K Citymarket Kivihaka, Vaasa). Golden colour, no head. Aroma is rotten apples and green apples along with some wood and vanilla. Flavour is rubber, grass ,earth and some mild notes of sour apples. Gets more apple and less rubber & earth in the flavour as it warms up.

Bottled (from K Citymarket Kivihaka, Vaasa). Extremely pale yellow colour, no head. Aroma is barnyard, pear and mild notes of other fruits. Flavour is pear, cheese, earth, barnyard and also some slight melted rubbery notes. Not very exciting.
