Undated can that I think is about a year old, from the warm shelf, drunk 10/28/25, as pictured.
Rich malt with good interlaced smokiness that has a hint of rich bacon/salt but doesn't go too far in that direction. Pepper and light wood, with soft, herbal hop and a good balance of honey, bread and minimal toast notes from the malt. Clean and aromatic.
Rich malt with elegant flavors of baguette and honey, drying out, but not too much, leaving a crisp, moderately smokey, rich, flavorful finish full of pepper and herb. They have absolutely nailed the balance here, though I'm guessing a year ago this probably tended a bit too malty? Still a very burly beer, especially for having sat warm for a year. But it's obviously well-made and lagers can handle their age better. Smoke is delicious and also quite well-balanced; not a mouthful of smoke.

Can from trade with Steve. Opaque dark brown with light sparkle, thin head with fair retention, trace lacing. Aroma is strong toffee, molasses, cacao nibs, roasted earthy malts bordering on coffee. Taste follows aroma along with initial wheat and late mineral. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, strong finish as taste. Nice non-adjuncted imperial stout.

Undated can from shelf, drunk 9/28/25.
Clear, dark maroon. Medium-sized, butter head.
Big acids but it's a good deal of lacto and light brett with only a pinch of acetic. Very fruity with varied complexity there and a strong base maltiness yielding honey and caramel as it mixes with the darker malts. No alcohol noted.
Soft, easygoing. It initially shows a pop of big acidity that worries you that it could get too acidic, but this quickly softens through malt and oak in to a mild, hugely fruity tartness that is matched by the nutty, blanding oak and soft, caramel-and-honey-like malts. No alcohol. Still a sipper, as it's a big beer with bold, intense flavors. But it seems well-aged enough and the acids very rounded that I easily wanted to finish my the whole thing.

750ml bottle I picked up at OEC's brewery, pours a murky orange with some white head. Nose has herbs, lemon and raw orange, light wood, some licorice maybe. Flavors follow. Its bright and tart. Herbal. Dry. Tart. Crowd pleaser. 8 8 8.5 8 8

After all the heavy beers last evening a nice light Hefe seems to be prescribed to get me back to normal. Gold and flat bodied and foamy white head. Nose is floral and some banana. Tatses of lemongrass and some wheat, banana. Subdued flavors. Soft but weak texture. I had higher hopes

Undated can drunk 8/6/25.
Deep, dehydrated urine. Clear. Big, creamy, off-white head.
Soft and wheaty with honey-like malt, as well. Adjuncts are woven in nicely and tasteful. No big punchy acidity. Little bit of caramel on the end, with the floral adjunct character. Surprisingly low yeast character for the style (and it's also clear, which is interesting). Little bit of banana, I suppose.
Again, light, soft, round, low adjunct. Some lavender/floral character from the elderflower without the potentially astringent bitterness from either adjunct. Creamy banana and nutty, chewy wheat. A bit oxidized and low flavor, though what's there is interesting, minus the bigger caramel and bread character. Not very weizeny, though.

Can code PR#02040, drunk 8/5/25. Glad they took the time to write PR#02040 and not the date it was canned!
Clear, amber-ruby. Medium-sized, beige head.
Nose is big base malt with just a bit of roasty/toasty specialty malt. Not too much toast or acid or intense bread. Minimal hops. Lots of honey, gentle toffee. Clean.
Soft and malty with a great depth/texture and good attenuation. Toast/roast provides just enough acidity/dryness to balance the big Maris malts and it ends clean, flavorful and balanced.
