473ml can. Pours a cloudy magenta with a thin, fizzy, short lived, pale pink head that fully dissipates. Fruity aroma is dominated by raspberry with floral hops and slight sorghum. Sweet fruity flavour of raspberry, lemon, oats, floral hops and slight sorghum in a dry, tart finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Tasty, an excellent GF beer.

Sweet flavour of rice, lemon, coriander and white pepper in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Refreshing and thirst quenching. A solid GF beer.

473ml can. Pours a hazy copper with a small, foamy, short lived, beige head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of toasted bready pale malt, caramel and floral hops. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, orange peel, honey and spicy hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. A good GF beer.

473ml can. Pours a clear pale straw colour with a small, foamy, short lived, white head that laces. Mild aroma of corn and floral hops. Sweet flavour of rice, honey, lemon and floral hops in a crisp, dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Not bad for a GF beer.

Consumed on Day 4 of the Verendrye expedition. Far too tepid due to the lack of cold water for chilling. Virtually black. Foamy beige head. Pine aroma. Touch of chocolate. Bitter bordering on acrid finish. Rich and chewy body. Sweet undertones. Wish this had been better chilled. Not refreshing but quite interesting.

Nez de café torréfié avec des notes d’alcool assez élevées.
L’alcool domine un peu trop l’olfactif.
Absence de tons sucrés et d’esters.
Liquide noir et opaque avec une mousse pétillante qui se maintient quand même assez bien.
En bouche, on a un peu plus de malts sucrés avec de légers tons de caramel en entrée mais l’alcool et la torréfaction reviennent vite reprendre le dessus.
Le corps est bien riche et onctueux.
Cette bière comporte une saveur désagréable que je n’arrive pas à identifier et qui pourrait bien être un défaut.
Oxydation ? Carton mouillé ?
Ça attire l’attention gustative et empêche d’apprécier les saveurs maltées de torréfaction ainsi que les esters sucrés.
Une bonne déception !

Olfactif relevant un alcool assez fort ainsi que des notes de pain grillé, de fruits noirs bien frais, de caramel, de mélasse et de cerise.
La mousse effervescente descend extrêmement rapidement sur le liquide brun clair et parfaitement limpide.
Fruitée et caramélisée en entrée de bouche avec des houblons poivrés et épicés évidents.
Le fruité laisse ressortir des notes de cerise.
Également perçu : boisé, noisettes, pain grillé.
Complexité gustative assez élaborée.
L’amertume est faible, le sucre et l’alcool prenant assez de place en finale.
Très appréciée !

New ???? brewery ? sweet with notes of lemon and papaya, cantaloupe, citrus rind, some hop spice, sweet malty backing, medium body, hoppy bitter edged finish.

HAHAHAH, they call this beer? Wow, it looks like soda water in my glass, there is the slightest yellow tinge to it. No head to speak of. Flavour is.........well........water, there is no flavour. Wow, this is bad. the only reason this isnt getting a .5 is because it’s good to see beer being brewed for people who are gluten intolerant.

Olfactif à la base maltée avec des céréales bien présentes, des épices rappelant le poivre, la cannelle et le clou de girofle ainsi qu’un fruité aux accents de framboise et de fruits confits.
La mousse pétillante ne tient pas beaucoup.
Le liquide doré presqu’ambré est bien voilé.
Les houblons aux accents de fruits rouges dominent l’entrée de bouche.
Framboises, fruits confits et poivre font partie du programme.
La base maltée est subtilement miellée.
La finale est surtout épicée, très subtilement herbacée et assez carbonatée.
Les houblons Aramis et Barbe Rouge, typiquement Français, sont bien en évidence dans cette saison originale et assez goûteuse.
Assez appréciée !
