O : Arômes de Bourbon et de café bien torréfié. Torréfaction très intense. V : Noire et opaque, avec une petite mousse qui tient très peu. G : Les éléments torréfiés sont bien en place. Le café est fort et bien corsé. Le Bourbon est équilibré, bien intégré. De subtiles notes de biscuit en sourdine ainsi que de la mélasse. L’amertume de torréfaction est intense et combinée à l’alcool nous donne une longue fin de bouche. C : Le corps est un peu plus mince que la moyenne pour ce style. La carbonatation est également un peu plus relevée. G : L’affinage en barrique de Bourbon n’apporte pas grand-chose de plus à la bière de base qui m’avais conquis au dernier printemps. Je reste déçu.
