Bottle. Hazy amber color with creamy eggshell head. Aroma is bready, grassy, fresh green-citrusy, a touch peas. Taste is fresh hoppy, bready, cereals, caramel, a touch peas. A touch booze in the back. Velvety mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Good, but due to the vegetal flavours definitely not the top German Maibock for me. After a couple of minutes, this beer loses the pea flavours and becomes a very well hopped Bock.

Bottle. Unclear golden-amber color with creamy white head. Aroma is bready, cereals, nice old world hops, some sweetish fruits (kiwi). Taste is bready, again the same delicate hop profile, a touch peas, a bit caramely malts, grains, a touch of alcohol noticeable in the back. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Decent, but a bit too sweet in flavour.

Aroma of dark chocolate, cocoa powder, toast, dark bread, coffee, honey, some caramel, some dark fruits.
Tastes of chocolate, toffee, cocoa, toast, dark bread, coffee, some honey, some dark fruits.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.

Really tasty! Rich and diverse, with almost Porter-like notes, while also with a lovely chocolate/toffee sweetness. Greatly balanced and very smooth to drink. Outstanding Dunkler Bock, propably the best I've had so far!
