Tap at the brewery. Very bright yellow slightly hazed with a big massive white head, persistent and lacing. Fresh smell of lavender and foreign hops. Aroma is solid malty with biscuit and grains, pilsner like, backed by intense hops resin. Intended to be light bodied with low alcohol, spot on, citrusy aftertaste, dry, clean, a bit watery still keeping a good good on the situation, very classy. A nice surprise.

Tap at the brewery. Dark copper color light haze almost clear, beige head, reducing. Aroma is malty with grass and hay hints of biscuit, caramel and bread. There's something juicy in the grapes or plum providing a touch of sourness. Finish is crisp, dry, clean.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is buttery, grassy hops, Callista nuttiness. Taste is buttery, grassy hops again, a bit rancid. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. A bit too buttery for me.

Bottle. Hazy amber color with creamy eggshell head. Aroma is bready, grassy, fresh green-citrusy, a touch peas. Taste is fresh hoppy, bready, cereals, caramel, a touch peas. A touch booze in the back. Velvety mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Good, but due to the vegetal flavours definitely not the top German Maibock for me. After a couple of minutes, this beer loses the pea flavours and becomes a very well hopped Bock.

Bottle. Unclear golden-amber color with creamy white head. Aroma is bready, cereals, nice old world hops, some sweetish fruits (kiwi). Taste is bready, again the same delicate hop profile, a touch peas, a bit caramely malts, grains, a touch of alcohol noticeable in the back. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Decent, but a bit too sweet in flavour.

Clear amber. Aroma is grassy hops with much fruity notes orange zest bonbon clove muscat. Taste is full bodied herbal character. Not too aggressive. Tart. Full bodied. Apparently dryhopped according to the Altstadthof staff. IPL maybe?
