Description
Il Birrificio prende il nome dalla sorgente del Lambro, il nostro amato e tanto bistrattato fiume, simbolo, nel bene e nel male, di questo territorio (una sorgente particolare, purissima, che un po’ mena… un po’ resta… viva, come la nostra birra!).
Il logo riproduce la sperada, tipica acconciatura femminile in uso in Brianza fino all’inizio del ‘900, ornamento che le spose indossavano il giorno del matrimonio e che univa trasversalmente la gente di ogni estrazione sociale. Come solo può fare la birra!

(Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 23 Oct 2013) Golden colour with dense, white head. Malty, fruity nose with bready malt, citrus, peaches and grassy hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of bread, citrus, tropical fruit, grainy malt and a fresh grassy, citric bitterness in a dry finish. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh and tasty. Nice one.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Yoav’s place. Cloudy yellow with a white head. Lovely hoppy aroma, tropical and citric. Flavor has faint sweetness, pleasant fruity hops and a mild to moderate bitterness. Medium-bodied. Really nice and refreshing.

Keg at Moeder Lambic, Fontainas, 29/09/13. Hazed golden amber with a mahoosive frothy off white head. Nose is toasty malts citrus, light grapefruit, hint of soap, lemon rind, grass. Taste comprises lemon zest, light citrus, toasted malt, grassy, light hop profile. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp finale. Decent GB affair.

Hazy gold beer with a tidy white head. Smooth soft palate with mild fine carbonation. Light creamy malt. Mellow tropical fruits. A little fresh orange and mild pith. Smooth and semi dry finish with a pithy bitter aftertaste. Nice!

Opaque black - brown beer. Good pale tan head. Smooth palate with a little fine carbonation. Smooth dark malt with a touch of roast. Good piney hops with a little orange. Finishes semi dry with mild to medium bitterness. Smooth and drinkable black IPA.

[10/20/13] Draught at Eurhop Beer Festival 2013 in Rome. Dark brown, almost clear, with a beige head. Malty aroma, a bit nutty, a bit roasty, a bit fruity. Sweetish malty flavor with a bit of caramel, light nutty notes, a fruity notes and mild hoppy bitterness. Medium-bodied.

[10/17/13] Draught at Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fà in Rome. Black with a nice tan head and nice lacing. Aroma has a bit of roastiness and lots of fruity hops, a bit piney. Flavor has some roastiness, faint sweetness, piney and fruity hops and a nice bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Good.

[10/7/13] Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas in Brussels. Hazy shiny yellowish golden. Aroma of floral hops, a bit citric, with a bit of yeast and grainy notes. Dry-ish flavor with light sweetness, a bit grainy, mild yeastiness and nice floral and citric hoppines with mild bitterness.
