I did not like my first experience with this beer, but it’s re-rate time at the WSF. Clear golden-bronze colour. Musty, shitty aroma with light tannins. Cidery and a bit of a pedio bomb but fresh-tasting and quite quenching nonetheless. Refreshing finish - simple and a bit cidery.

Amber-golden body. Off-white head (mostly diminishing, quite lacey). Wood, citric aroma. Lightly bitter, moderately sour initial flavour. Lightly sour long finish.

(Draught off course) Deep red body, no head. Cherry aroma with hints of oak. Soft mouthfeel, light body. Lightly sweet, lightly acidic initial flavour. Very short dito finish.

An extremely explosive beer - about half of it ran over when I opened it. The color is an unclear dark orange and it has a beutiful though collapsing orange head. The aroma is lovely of grapefruit but also with notes of wood. The flavor is very nicely sour with notes of grapefruit, wood, and lemon. The sourness draw the mouthwater.

Bottle: The bottle opened with a large POP! Poured a bright red/pink colored beer with a huge head with excellent retention. Carbonation is very strong and aroma is comprised mainly of sweet raspberry. Taste is very refreshing with a very good taste of raspberry (not too much sweetness though) and tart. I appreciated the fact that the acidic part was well covered and wasn’t taking too much place. Overall, this was a very refreshing drink that I wouldn’t mind trying again on a hot summer day.

[Out of a 10 liter cardboard box at Jacob Lövenlunds place] A clear ruby red beer with a pink disappearing head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of cherries. The flavor is slightly sour like grapefruit combined with strong notes of cherries. I lovely beer. Thanks Jacob for sharing this.

A deep red beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of sugar on a sour background but also hints of wood. The flavor is dominated by grapefruit and is sweet on a sour background with notes of wood lending it a dryness and hints of brown sugar. The sourness is not that accentuated, but yet it draws some mouthwater. It ends on a note of grapefruit.

Slightly hazy red color, short off-white head. Sweet sour aroma of raspberry. Sweet taste, fruity, not tart, only slightly sour. Sticky palate. If you like raspberry, it’s probably quite ok.

(draught of course) White-pinkish slim head; slightly hazy, beautiful cyclamen-red beer. Faintly sweets-nose, cherrydrops, some Brett shining trough. Rather sweet taste, but not sugared or syrupy cherry taste. It is as if sweet-cherry (kersen) juice has just been added, instead of sour cherry (krieken) juice. Touch of almonds from the stones. The fruit lends extra filling to the mouthfeel. However weirdly sweet, it never presents an artificial flavour profile. It just seems the wrong kind of fruit - for a lover of the sour-fruit theme. For a sweet tooth, however...

Reddish amber, clear no head. Apple aroma. Sweet and still, fruity and clean. Pleasant and caramelly up front, but with artificial saccaharine liek finish. Not up to par with the rest of the Girardins
