Bottle: Poured a clear deep copper color marzen with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and a good amount of lacing. Aroma of smoked malt with some caramel malt notes. Taste is a mix between oily caramel malt notes with faint residual sugar notes and strong smoked notes typical of the brewery. Body is average for style with good carbonation. Super easy drinking smoked Marzen with great flavours.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy golden with a neat and lacing white head with good retention. Distinct smoky aroma perhaps paired with some yeastiness. Light in body perhaps but a very smooth mouthfeel. Those fatty, smoked salami notes just gets heavier the deeper you get into the beer. Very little bitterness. 080126

A clear copper brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of bacon, intense smoked malt, oak, some berries. Taste of intense smoked malt, red berries, oak, some bacon.

0.5l bottle many thanks to Lore. Opaque golden body with a long lasting white head. Smoky notes in the aroma with some hay and some doughy yeast. Taste of smoked ham, bready malts, hay and slight citruses. The thin body and the lively carbonation makes the beer feel a bit thin. Fine, but I had better beers from this brewery to be honest.

It would be hard to find more character in a beer of this strength. Gorgeous and clean smoke character, lean ham, mellow pale campfire notes, a little biscuit, hay. Light bodied. Super clean finish, lingering dry smoke, candied ham. Excellent.
