Hazy deep amber colour, good creamy off-white head, dissipating slowly, thick creamy layer remains, good lacing. Aroma toasted malt, wheat, yeast, caramel, speculoos, cloves, banana especially retronasal. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, spices. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, dry sweetbitter aftertaste, roasted malt, quite prickly and spicy palate, though not directly a good example of the style a good brew.

Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, grain (rye), some caramel. Medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, malty sweetbitter aftertaste, light lemon peel, quite astringent, okay.

33cl bottle (6,5%, BBF: Dec2019) from Beerwulf webshop. F: medium, white, quick gone. C: deep gold, hazy. A: sweet malty, mellow fruity, caramel, bit honey, floral. T: medium malty base, vaguely fruity, bready, bit honey, spicy touch, dry on the palate, elderberry should be there so not bad, partially enjoyed.

Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, mineral and roast. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with light salt. Medium bodied with above light carbonation.
