33cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Kermis. Very thin off white head. Cloudy amber pour. Too herbal. Not a great barley wine . Nice name though

Small yellow head, irregular, over well-carbonated opaque redbrown beer. Cake, dried fruit (raisins, apricots, plums,...) bit of bitter almonds, maltsyrup. Bitter with faint sweetness, cakey, underneath; chocolate, again fruity-yeasty. Faint brandy flavour. Quite well-bodied, oily-slick, bit pappy feel in the finish. Good carbonation. Quite nice, but as Barley Wines go, there’s better around.

Hazy pale amber colour, small frothy off-white head, mostly diminishing. Aroma roasted malts, smoke, bit caramel, smoked meat. Taste light light heavy sweet and light bitter, malty, fruity, light caramel, light smoke esp. retronasal. Fruity sweetbitter aftertaste, hint of smoke, medium body, oily to watery texture, flat cabonation, nice try.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with tiny chunks floating around and a small, micropored, diminishing, white head. Fruity, yeasty aroma, a touch of peach and white pepper, coriander seed. Taste is slightly sweet fruity, minimally peppery spicy yeasty, notes of apricot, peach, hints of white pepper, coriander seed, cautious citrusy and zesty interludes with orange touch. Farmhouse Wit IPA or so. "[G]een overweldigende combinatie", but not bad.
