29th July 2016: cask pint in The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire. Golden pour that took time to clear, full white head on top. Aroma was fruity with an orange lead, taste similar, plenty of hop action going on, not so much malty participation to my palate. Mild citrusy/bitter notes in the aftertaste: decent.

Cask at Leyton Technical. It pours clear ruby with a thin beige head. The nose is bitter - sweet, toasted nuts, frangelico, hazelnut, chocolate and earth. The taste is smooth, toasted nuts, earthy roast, wood, leather, charred action and earth with a dry, toasted finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Decent.

Cask half-pint in The Euston Tap on 9th Feb 2016. Light golden body with an off-white head. Tropical and citrus fruit aroma with a taste showcasing the same hops, mild malty background balanced the hops well. Decent.

(Cask at Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak, London, 25 Nov 2015) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, coffee and caramel. Malty, roasted taste with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, roasted malt, hints of smoke and a balanced coffee bitterness. Medium body, dry. Tasty and well made stout. Nice one.
