Gravity poured half-pint at the 8th Annual Beer Festival at The Bridge End Inn, Ruabon on 25th August 2017. Off-white wispy head on a clear golden/amber body. Decent enough blend with a mild citrus lead in both the nose and flavour, some malty sweetness mid-sip before the hops kicked in again to give a pleasant slightly bitter finish.

Keg at the Euston Tap, West Lodge, 26/07/17. Mahogany brown with a decent light beige head. Nose is cocoa powder, toffee, biscuit, oatmeal notes, dusty hops. Taste comprises light roast, toffee, astringent bitterness, minerals, earthy, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with earthy and astringent hop bitterness. Not great ... lacks both depth and balance ... comes across a touch harsh and unfinished.
