(Cask at Rake, Borough, London, 22 April 2017) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit and resin. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, grapefruit, lemon, a touch of resin and a finish with floral hops and a balanced bitterness. Light body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and refreshing. Nice one.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol, 7/12/2016. Deep gold with a slight white, head. Aroma of tangerine and tropical fruit and floral hops. Flavour had sweetish biscuit malts with plenty more tropical fruits, before a lingering, dry, finish. Very good.

(Keg at Gallows Bird Real Ale Tribute to Shakespeare, 20160903) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had pine, peach and burnt malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, sweetness, liquorice, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, fruity and bitter. A nice hoppy and burnt brew.
