Bottle from Belgiuminabox. Pours a murky dark brown colour with a red hue and a medium thick creamy beige head. Nice lacing. Aromas of caramel, dry dark fruits, roasted malts and toasted bread. Taste is similar with hints of chocolate and a very slight bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied with a fair amount of carbonation on the palate. A better than average dubbel.

Clear blond to orange beer, big creamy dense white head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of tropical fruits, passion fruits, pineapple, citrus notes, wort, metallic touch very typical for non-alcoholic beers, bit floral. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: little watery, nice and fruity, bit juicy, citrus notes, passion fruit, candied orange peel, tangerines, bit sweet and sugary. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, bit sweet, fruity, nice bitterness, metallic finish, tangerines, some tropical fruits, good for a NA beer!!

Bottle from Belgiuminabox. Pours a murky deep orange colour with a medium to large sized thick throthy beige head. Aromas of tropical, stone and citrus fruits, floral, pine and spice. Taste is more fruity notes with added orange zest and a hoppy bitterness. Medium to full bodied with a smooth slick slightly oily mouthfeel and a long citrus and hoppy finish. Really fresh. Excellent beer

2 February 2020. At Brugs Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke & Pieter! Hazy brown, lasting, very thin, off-white head. Aroma of toffee, dried orange peel, brioche, raisin, dried apricot, sweet liquorice. Taste has sweet toffee, brioche, filled with candied raisin, banana, orange, herbal & spicy liquorice accent. Malty finish, lingering dried fruit, vague herbal hops & warming liqueur alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Too sweet in the nose, the rest is quite okay.

Ljust bärnstensfärgad klar vätska med vitt skum. Svag brödig doft av mjuk kaka. Sädig rå smak med ett försök av matchande beska, vilket faller platt. Som bonus dyker smaker av päronskal upp i avslutet.

Clear golden colour with thin lacy head. Aroma has a lactic sourness. Flavour has a mix of sweet peach and lactic acidity. They don't marry together very well.

Aroma: pretty fruity, some pineapple, citrus notes. MF: oko carbon, medium to light body. Taste: soft bitterness, pretty fruity, lots of citrus, hint of vanilla, bit grassy. Aftertaste: hoppy, fruity, decent, some vanilla, citrus notes, grapefruit touch, decent one!

Sans être tonitruante, cette Champagner Weisse sait être attachante, avec des arômes plaisants, une structure appréciable et une présence en bouche très honorables pour un alcool de 4,8 %. La question qu'il est possible de se poser est toutefois de savoir ce qu'apporte réellement la levure de champagne ici. Nous sommes plus proche d'une blanche et cela finalement ne me gêne pas car les bières utilisant de telles levures sont souvent loin d'être abouties. Moins que celle-ci en l'occurrence. Le visuel se porte sur un blond jaune or, avec présence d'une mousse blanche disparate. Le nez est frais, sur le citron (petite acidité) le blé, le froment, le pamplemousse et une touche d'ananas. A la dégustation, c'est une bière printanière que nous découvrons. A l'attaque, mention spéciale à une base douce qui se laisse découvrir sur la banane et la pêche et qui s'allie très bien aux arômes plus houblonnés qui s'exprimaient au nez. Une pointe de coriandre s'y ajoute. Une pointe d'acidité donne également un petit pep's sympathique. La deuxième bouche est un peu plus plate et il faut attendre la retro pour avoir en bouche cette petite acidité et ces épices donnant le tonus à la bière. L'arrière bouche et le final sont frais, acidulée sur le fruit avec une touche de coriandre. Cette Viven demanderait à être ajustée mais je la trouve pleine de poésie.
