Cask. Devonshire Cat, Sheffield. Clear gold. Thin, dense, clingy, white head. Very sweet, strawberry toffee malts. Some lemon hop. Fairly low key. Taste is earthy, oily herb bitter. A little sweetness mingled in. A bit curious, really. Palate is drying. Finishes with more of the earthiness. Fair play for using a new hop variety (I’m guessing), but it’s not for me.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s - London. Pours unclear orange-gold with minimal head. The nose has some ripening orange, bread, flowers. Medium sweet flavor with dried berries, orange, rind, blackberry essence. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Decent balance in the finish, a little sweet and bready, some fruit character, berries, citrus. So so.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s. It pours hazy orange with a tiny white head. The nose is soft, juicy, berry yoghurt, blackberry, fruits of the forest and mild candy. The taste is soft, fresh fruit, blackberry, light jamminess, slightly watery and some minerals with a dry finish. Lightish body and fine carbonation. Not anywhere near as sour as I had hoped. Soft, simplebfruit beer. Not bad.
