FC Nordsjælland vs. Chelsea FC Champions League football night tasting in Odense, October 2012. Cloudy pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma of grainy malt, DMS and green leaves. Dry and green flavour. It’s ginseng alright, but you eat that for health and not for flavour, right?

33 cl. bottle sampled thx. to Dave @ Bier Central. Clear pale golden with a smaller white head. Belgian yeast on the nose of this one with some pale ginseng as in those ginseng candies aka not particularly enjoyable, floral, light fruits. Bitter of-putting floral taste which is not per se ginseng, quite bitter, flat cheap ice tea, bitter spices, soap, grains, grass, light vegetables. Softer carb. more or less sucks like most things sold at this place.

25cl bottle @ home. Big soapy, foamy white to off-white head on top of a hazy opaque orange colored beer. Don’t smell much, light to moderately malty, hints of caramel. Tastes almost the same, lightly bitter and some fruitpeel. A bit fizzy carbo, low body, thin texture.
