Bottle. Pours black, with a nice, thick and lightly coloured head. Aroma is nice and very straight forward, with burned malts and coffee. Normal body with a quite thin, almost watery texture and soft carbonation. Flavour is sweet with kandi and syrup, as well as some burned malty bitterness and coffee sticking through the finish. Nice, but a bit one dimensional.

Bottle at ChrisO tasting. It pours hazy orange-amber, with a thin off-white head. The nose is orange sherbet, mango, tangerine, Granny Smith apple and a touch of acidity. The taste is icing sugar, hay, straw, orange sherbet, soapiness, star fruit and kiwi, with a dry finish. Medium body and fine-moderate carbonation. Nice balance. Rather drinkable.

Bottle at home (from the offy in Sunninghill, Berks!) - 21/09/12. Hazy dark orange/amber with a thin off-white head that soon recedes to the edges and forms a very small lake atop the glass. Caramel malts on the nose, hops, bitter orange and grapefruit, sour fruit tones. Bitter tropical fruit flavours, orange again, citrus tones, some hops but maybe lacking a little in this department. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation but a little watery. Drinkable, but not one I’d partake in again!

330ml bottle bought at Johnnys Off-License in Roma. Shared with Finn at a rating session back home. Pours a big rocky, white head that laces well. Unclear, amber-gold body. Mid-dry, resin-like hopped aroma. Fruity hops in flavour with notes of apricot and mandarin. Smooth bittersweet tail. More than just satisfying (Tromsø, 18.07.2012).
