Bottle from Classic Deli aka Dodgy Deli, Cowley Rd, Oxford, consumed at home Sunday 5th August 2012 Hazy brown with off- white filmy head. Soft in the mouth, fruity with a distinctive tanginess and a little dryness at the edge. Bit soap suddy mouthfeel (but not taste) the taste is lacking, it has some bitterness but it lacks many distinctive qualities. Ok. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Bottle from Classic Deli aka Dodgy Deli, Cowley Rd, Oxford, consumed at home Saturday 5th August 2012 Dark, dark brown, actually it’s black with a creamy textured slim beige head. Smooth, touch thinnish but with an underlying roastiness that starts to show, some bitterness, but oodles of dark demarara sugar, little dry at end, tangy, quite tasty, but nothing to special. Bottle from Classic Deli aka Dodgy Deli’, Cowley Rd, Oxford Friday 3rd August 2012 consumed at home the same day. Slightly murky orangey butterscotch colour. Thick in the mouth with that typically Americn IPA flvour bit burny in the mouth, clearly the alcohol is noticeable but soft in the mouth. Decent beer but not worth almost twice the price of the others I’ve had from this brewery tonight. A7 A3 T8 P3 Ov15 3.6

Bottle from Classic Deli aka Dodgy Deli?, Cowley Rd, Oxford Friday 3rd August 2012 consumed at home the same day. Hazy reddy/amber with mid sized white head. Little bit soapy on nose with a slight citrussy background. Thrusty beer but bitterness isn’t overwhelming. Soft in mouth with the soapiness showing again, but this isn’t to the detriment of this beer, its a tasty, hoppy beer. A7 A3 T7 P4 Ov15 3.6

Bottle from Classic Deli aka Dodgy Deli’, Cowley Rd, Oxford Friday 3rd August 2012 consumed at home the same day. Pours reddy/amber with a slim white head. Nice aroma a little pine perhaps then citrus. Streaky lemon in mouth then settles to a soft pulpy cooked lemon, nicely bitter with good bittersweet zappiness. Loz wasn’t so fussed on this at first but we both now agree that this is a slow burner and real grower. Great. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.6

Cloudy orange brown colour with an off white head. Moderate sweet fruity and light citric aroma. Flowery and citric flavour. And not the ususal rich muddy/murkiness that often follows DIPA beers. I was really suprised when I looked at the amount of alcohol. I quessed around 6%. Almost no alcohol taste. Wish i had bought more.

33 cl bottle thanks to Reza! Sampled on July 12, 2012Cloudy brown with orange color, creamy tan head. Hoppy, fruity, sweet, apricots scent, some cheese. Hoppy, alcohol, bitter taste. Lingering bitter aftertaste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, initially very high sort of grape skin touch bitterness. A fair bit too bitter for this little guy. I did get more used to the bitterness after a while though.
