Pours gold into a snifter. Bright white head quickly recedes to skim surface. Sweet honey and alcohol aromas. Crisp with upfront honey and grass with an abrupt sweet finish.

750ml swingtop - hazy golden pour, with fairly good head retention - earthy tartness and light acidity hit the nose first, but honey, wildflowers, and a slight muskiness follow behind that - these are what manifest in the flavor at first, especially the honey and wildflower character - a bit of bitterness arrives through the middle, and a faint kick of acetic acid perks the tongue up a bit - some toasted grain and yeast arrive in the lingering sweetness of the finish - another subtle, well-balanced beer from this brewer.

Bottle at first DC beer tasting of 2010. Golden color, very effervescent, thin white head, moderate lacing. Aroma of apples and citrus. Flavor is malty, lots of sour apples, slightly bitter with a few lager-like elements. Light body. Good, solid example of the style.

Tasting at Papsø’s
Hazy, pale blond color. Aroma of plastic. Weak mouthfeel, dry, with very light straws, wheat and citrus fruits. It may be thirst quenching in the summer, but it’s a poor beer overall.

Cloudy orange-amber color; creamy head. This is a collection of flaws: vegetables aroma, light yeast, cabbage flavor, alchol presence... And the malt is very subdued; low bitterness. Useless experiment.

2012-11-12, bottle at La Fine Mousse, Paris, 6-3-6-3-12=30
Hazy amber color, low carbonation. Better than the last time, but still, the aroma shows some apples (undesired), the flavor is malty and sweetish, with low bitterness and some fruity presence; delicate spices too.
Easy.
2010-01-11, tasting at Papsø’s, 6-3-5-2-11
Hazy amber color. Simple Ale, some sweetish caramel flavor, too much alcohol, some vegetables, light spices. Confused.
