Description
In 2013 we brewed beer for the first time in our first brewery in the Amsterdam Pijp. We now make award-winning beers, soft drinks and from beer what is left over we distil gin and gin again. We make everything ourselves, as local as possible and completely organic because that is better for our beer and for the planet. Our breweries are located in the most beautiful places in the middle of Amsterdam. Not at all efficient of course, but all the more fun!

0.33 l bottle from 'Sterk Avondverkoop', best before March 2019. Muddy, dark brown with a thin, fluffy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish, quite fruity and slightly resiny aroma of mango, orange and a touch of pine with traces of wort. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, rather dry, quite fruity and slightly resiny taste of mango, orange, some pine and a touch of wort, followed by a short, rather dry, moderately bitter finish. Thin body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent NAIPA (is this a style?), not too sweet and quite aromatic, looks very ugly though.

Draught @ Troost Oost. Murky yellow-ish color. Firm white head with good retention. Aroma's: fruity, citrus, dank hops, floral. Retronasal it's dank, floral, resinous, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet with hints of citrussy sourness. Light medium bodied. Enough but soft carbonation as with most NEIPA's. Light bitter finish. Not bad, but obviously it's not Other Half.

On tap at Troost Oost. Opaque, looks like cafe latte, thin white head. Aroma of mango, light yeasty, tropical fruits. Flavour follows, serious hop burn, lots of mango, gritty mouthfeel. Light bodied. Not sure if it was supposed to be so murky, hop burn is slightly unpleasant, but it’s tasty though.
