Sample at Keystone during Cincinnati Beer Week. The beer pours a dark brown color with a medium beige head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of malt, spices and fruit. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, tart fruit, spices and a little chocolate. The finish is malty up front with a mildly tart fruit aftertaste. A little disjointed which probably shouldn’t be surprising considering the number of entities involved with its creation. Still a decent beer overall.

Can - Cinnamon, chocolate, hazelnut and some faint berry notes. Deep black with a rich beige head. Cinnamon, berry and toasted nuts. Odd but the berry and cinnamon clash to me.
