Poured from a can dated 04/27/2015. Aroma is fairly hoppy with a large simcoe character of grapefruit and resin with a medium light citrus and light tropical fruit note. Some medium light alcohol notes with some light caramel and biscuit. Pours a hazy, orange with a bit of a copper hue and a medium sized, white head that recedes fairly quickly to a thin film that lingers. Moderate lacing and longish legs. Flavor has a medium light sweetness with some light caramel. Strong bitterness with medium strong hop notes of grapefruit, orange and resin with lighter tropical fruit notes. Some medium light alcohol spice in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied and slightly sticky with moderate carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a surprisingly nice, big IPA with a not too sweet character. Nice bitterness. It doesn’t have the hop character of some of the very best TIPAs, but the malt presence isnt overwhelming and the alcohol is nicely hidden.

Can. A- Dark fruits, cinnamon, berries, mocha, cocoa, creamy, slightly tart. A- Black color, dark liquid, light brown color. T- Berries, cinnamon, mocha, milk chocolate. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, complex finish. O- I’m not quite sure how to describe this one other than it was weird. It wasn’t a disappointment, but I certainly didn’t want more after finishing this either. The cinnamon was not a good addition in my opinion and it just felt weird overall.

12oz can pours out crisp golden topped with a white head. Nose is earth tones herbal hops floral notes and some sweetness. Taste is more of the hop mix and a solid malt.

12oz can via trade with alexsdad06 pours a murky, deep orange with some lacing, creamy, white head. Nose has loads of sticky tropical fruit bubble gum, perfume, lots of honey, guava, some mild booze, some lemon-lime soda. The flavor is sadly a bit less refined, quite sweet and bordering on cloying, pine, rotting tropical fruit, candy sugar. Actually, some Belgian tripel notes lurking. Sure, there is some nice galaxy fruit flavor, bubblegum, but just a bit too sweet.

Light citrus hoppy notes and a decent bitterness- more than expected for the style. More like a pale ale with some mild malt. Interesting brew.

Lightly hazy orange with a white head. Candied tropical fruits, sweet malt, resinous hops, pine. Full bodied. Booze overpowers the finish. Pretty solid but I’d like the booze burn reigned in a bit.

Can thanks to micham8. Pours crystal clear golden with a fizzy white head that dissipates quickly leaving nice residual and decent lacing. Aroma is kinda corny, grass, hay, grains. Flavor is light plus sweet, grainy and grassy, a biscuit kind of malt base. Tiny hint of green apple. Light body, spritzy mouthfeel.

Amber with a white head. Lightly hoppy, citrus, caramel malt sweetness. Medium bodied. Nice amber ale and a good break from overly hoppy everything.
