Sample at The Ohio Taproom. Clear golden color with a medium ivory white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Sticky strings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of floral hops, citrus and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, grapefruit and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

12oz can pours a murky black with a ring of beige head. Nose has a lot of earthy cinnamon and bread crust, some jammy notes, light molasses, hints of acetic acid, some raisin, black pepper. Flavor has more sweetness than the nose lets on, licorice and molasses, black pepper, a little pen ink, some jam, a little umami. Finishes medium bodied with some peppery notes.
