MadTree Brewing was founded in 2013 to cultivate a love of craft and community, and be the most respected brewery in the region. MadTree works hard to build camaraderie with their communities and supports countless charitable organizations throughout the year. They are obsessed with delivering the highest quality products and experience. MadTree believes in growing with integrity and intention and balancing long term sustainability in all decisions. They do this while never taking themselves too seriously. Everything is done to inspire madness, while being rooted in purpose. MadTree distributes its beers throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and Middle and Eastern Tennessee.

12oz can is a pale orange with some lacing, frothy white head. Nose is solid, orange and lemon, pine and soap, light pepper, light grist. Flavor has a little honey and grist, pine and soap, mild pepper, lemon, orange. Resinous finish, bitter. Solid.

Sample at Bobβs Bar during the "Madtree Brewing @ Bobβs!" event on 04/14/2016. Clear straw-gold color with a thin white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing. Floral and malty aroma. Light-bodied with flavors of bready malt, herbal wheat and mild hops. The finish is sweet with a mild spice and malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell. Slightly hazy reddish-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of tropical fruit, resiny hops and caramel malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

Fresh 12 oz can, thanks Matt B! Hazy gold with lasting fizzy head. Aroma of straw, grain, corn and mild yeast. Yes... It is spot on for the style. Grainy corn base with a mild sweet malt finish. Hop profile is low and completly untraceable. For the still it is pretty good with a pleasing mouthfeel.

Can. Pours a clear orange with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong citrus and floral hop. Medium mouth, grapefruit, grass, light bitterness, good.

Sample at Brass Tap during the "Gnarly Gno Gmore" event on 02/18/2016. The beer pours a dark brown color with a medium beige head that recedes gradually to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and spice. Medium body with flavors of chocolate malt, vanilla, spice and subtle pepper. The finish is smoky malt and peppers with a sweet chocolate aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Aroma of bourbon, malt and coffee. Medium body with flavors of oaky bourbon, roast malt and coffee. The finish is mildly boozy with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at the High Gravity Hullabaloo on 02/06/2016. Clear dark amber color with a medium thick off-white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of ripe fruit, yeast and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of red fruits, caramel malt and yeast. The finish is fruity with an earthy yeast aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
