Inspired by the 273-mile hiking trail that traverses through the Green Mountains, Long Trail Brewing Company has been a caretaker of Vermont craft since 1989. Moved and motivated by the local culture and surroundings, we work hard to create beers worthy of our Vermont roots. From small batch recipes developed in our farmhouse-turned-pilot-brewery to wider ranging staples like our flagship Long Trail Ale and freshly formulated Trail Hopper IPA, our brewers are committed to crafting a trail-worthy family of beers.

Pours dark amber with thick creme head. Aroma of maple and aroma notes. Taste is earthy and malty. Palate has dark notes, resinous finish.

Cask @ GBBF 2017. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy finish.

Tap at EBF2019, Boston. Colour is cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, cucumber, pickles, salt and some malts.

Pours dark brown with a very thick creme head. Aroma of maple syrup. The taste is light and somewhat watery, very smooth mouthfeel that has muted hop profile. The palate is dominated by a woody maple note on the nose, absolutely delicious in nature. Not bad.

Pours hazy amber with a thick white head. Aroma of citrus. Taste is malty, with a woody element to it. The palate is of citrusy hops and earthy elements. The mosaic hops are definitely detectable.

Pours amber with a very thick head. Decent amount of carbonation. Aroma of light and hoppy, some grass notes. Taste is woody with a nice smoked element on the nose. The palate contains floral grass notes as well as subtle resin flavors. Interesting IPA.

Pours hazy dark straw into a shaker. Bright white soapy head with medium retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Mango and grapefruit aromas. Sour mango skin and bitter grapefruit upfront turning to cloying pith in the lasting finish.
