Description
Blue Moon is known for its Belgian-Style Wheat Ale which was created in 1995 by Keith Villa, a brewer at the Sandlot Brewery at Coors Field, Denver. It was originally brewed in the Coors brewery in Golden, Colorado. In the summer of 2016 a new state-of-the-art brewery was opened in Denver’s RiNo District. Since then we have been brewing fan favorites (old and new), and experimenting with new and unique ingredients on our pilot brewing system.

Hazy gold, with a fast fading white head. Both nose and palate leave something to be desired. A very overrated beer

Amber with large off white. Good bead. Spicy pumpkin nose and taste with some yeast.Nose is much better then flavor.

This is made by Coors? Well, it's certainly the best thing Coors makes. However, we are talking about Coors here, so even their best (which this is) is a mediocre effort.

One of the more drinkable pumpkin ales, but I don't generally like them. Starts like pumpkin pie, finishes like an oktoberfest. Nose of pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg, in the flavor these combine well for a true pumpkin pie flavor. Its not overbearing nor sweet, except some real toasted malt sweetness in the finish.

One of my early favorites as I started sampling craft brews. Now, it has less character than I used to think.
