0,33 l bottle from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! BB 23.10.26. Clear light golden in the glass, small one finger white head. Caramel, some hay with malt and grain on the nose. Taste starts with a bitterness and malt, caramel in the second row. Metallic hints. Mid carbonated and mid bitterness. Not bad for a Bavarian Pils.

Bottle. Clear pale yellow with a decent white head. Aroma of grains, cereals and floral hops. Taste of bread, grains, malts, floral hops and straw. Low bitterness. Medium carbonation. Balanced. It’s a textbook Helles and I think that‘s a nice thing to say.

50cl Fles. Uit Stein. Goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Moutig, witbrood, hint van broodkorst, bloem, licht bloemig, licht grassig, degelijk bitter, hint van citroenrasp. Lichte body, zacht, glad. Smaakte me goed.

500 mil bottle at a lovely wine bar in Copenick while waiting for the little brewery to open on 21st January 2026. Bright and not like your usual Hefenweizen, more like a crystal version , white crown on top. Easy drinking and not as banana or clove tasting as most.

500ml bottle picked up in Frankfurt. Pours a clear gold, large white head that sticks around. Gentle lager malt sweetness on the nose. Clean, soft mouth feel.. soothing malt, mild bitterness.. quite easygoing.. like it. Also, I think I will make some courgette fritters this week thanks to Fin's review!
